I'm planning on switching to high performance blinker fluid, filling the tires with helium, installing adjustable power bands, and putting on one of these. . .

Yep, delivery today, course I'll most likely be at work by the time they deliver and won't get home till midnight. So, mount and balance tomorrow either on my way to work or have my dad run them in while I'm at work. Realistically, pics should be up by Wednesday unfortunately. It sucks living out in the middle of nowhere, shipments come late, takes a 2 hour round trip to get to town to get anything done, etc.

Nice nice nice interior. Might be one of my favorite interiors.

It's also nice to know that I helped out with the decision making. Lol.

Enjoy it DKS.

And seeing the blue LEDs under that dash on video has led me to ordering a pair.

Thanks guys. The LED's are acutally Ultra violet/Purple E-Bay, cheap as hell. They do look blue in the video, but in real life they look freaking crazy at night. I have the 02 done up with blue, though.

looks amazing! i would just hit those center caps with a little paint. i wish i had mamba's so i could do away with my spacers, plus i like how the spokes come in deeper to the center than moab's do. as long as you have no rubbing issues, i don't see why you would even need a lift unless you decide you want one down the road.

Looks fantastic. One day if i am ever out of debt i want to buy the Mamba MR1 wheels that are machined face with black pockets.

I like the center caps the way they are. I had a lifted XJ with 315/75/16s on 16" TJ Moabs that i painted black and i loved it! I love the Mamba MR1s because they look alot more like the 16" TJ moabs i had before then the 17" moabs off the JK.

I think you should leave the center caps alone also.

Just an update. I got time to get her out today and check it out some. At full lock they barely, and I mean barely touch the pinch weld. Not nearly enough to worry about. They literally just skim the plastic and move it maybe a 8th of an inch. Not even enough to make the plastic touch the actual weld. So, I'll be leaving it alone.

Hey man,

I'm in the military currently stationed in Korea. I have a black 08 GC laredo X and I am wanting to get some new wheels to have on it when I get back to the states but I just want to make sure you haven't had any issues with the mamba rims and the 255-70-17s before I ordered them ahead to have waiting on me when I get back. I was debating between the SRT8 reps and the mambas but after seeing yours I have decided on the mambas. I do not want to do any modifications to accommodate the wheels/tires if I don't have to. Any info you can give me would be most appreciated. Thanks

Honestly, I love it. It's as big as you can possibly go with out having to lift or do the pinch weld mod. They just touch the plastic on the pinch weld at full lock. Not even enough to feel or hear, but if you're watching it you can see that it brushes it. The ride seems better with the extra cushion from the tires.

I really wanted to keep my Jeep as stock as possible but I wanted it to look a lot more aggressive than it did. I think, with the help of the guys on this forum, I found the perfect combo for my needs.
