Re: The big strip has begun!

A few mock up photos

This is with my trailer wheel and tyres fitted. They are a 235x80x17 ( 31.8") instead of the Grand's in 245x65x17 (29.5") in the other photos before this.

This is the stock axle location as well.

Think the tall skinny look works well with the old truck and hotrod look I am going for.

You be waiting a long time then as wont be rushing it. Taking my time and enjoying it, as it is all about the build. Planned a 10 year build but think it might go quicker than that. Who knows.

Re: The big strip has begun!

Can someone help with the suitablilty of these lights. Been suggested to me that these will only suit 05-06 even though it came off a 08 due to having a 8 pin plug?
Just looked and it has a 8 pin plug, two rows of 4. Only 5 wires to each side with 4 wires in the one row and the last on a row to itself.
I plan to put these up for sale your time Friday night at around 7 pm Pacific and 10 pm Atlantic.

Re: The big strip has begun!

OK, just put the auction for the taillights up.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300533210362&ssPageNam e=STRK:MESELX:IT
I checked the international postage but the postage calculator only seems to work locally anyway? Given a link there ( http://auspost.com.au ) so you can calculate your own and hope it works alright. Been able to reduce the overall weight by changing the filling so cheaper than I mentioned above.
Can some one try to see if they can calculate the postage cost alright?
