I like it bro, flows real well. Don't worry yours won't be as loud. Actually I'm thinking of going to a 22 in muffler because it's just too loud for my taste

Alex, my Magnaflows are the 14 inchers but also keep in mind i have a pair of 28" glass packs so in all actuality, mines quieter. ...that is till i punch it :headbang:

So I'd like to review two items I have had. My OBX long tubes and my nitto terra grapplers

OBX longtubes: These headers are very nice, and extremely affordable. At a $500 entry point they are almost copies of the kooks headers, but a very good copy. The flanges at the head are decently thick and the welds look solid. They come with a set of resonators but those can easily be swapped out for cats. They have a very nice throaty sound to them. Highly recommended

Nitto terra grapplers: By far the best tire I have ever owned. They ride really smoothly and are actually surprisingly quiet for an all terrain tire. They work extremely well in loose traction situations such as snow and rain. Work very well in mud and sand as well. Behind my 6.4l even on hard launches they have great traction with a small chirp every now and then. Aesthetically they are aggressive looking. After about 30k miles they show minimal wear. I can easily see these tires lasting 60-75,000 miles. Also highly recommended.

Ive been looking into getting myself some obx headers for my 5.7. I heard of some close calls down underneath for mostly 08+ Wks me having an 05 i think im in the clear but should be kinda tight. Did you have problems with rubbing and how much was install since being so close it should be around the same for me if you care to share.

Dont think ive told you before but its a great looking Jeep even if it hates you most of the time.

Go for it bud. It clears everything but your right it is kinda tight. The resonator is pretty close to the tranny pan but there is 3/4" of clearance which is enough. Install was $0 since I did it myself when I pulled the motor. The bolts are a PITA to get to and it is time consuming tho. From what I've been reading on the forums people pay around $800 for the install tho.

And thanks man! That's why I still have it lol

Just measured and realized my front sits at 36.5" from the fender and my rear sits at 35.5" so my front is a whole inch higher. Not cool it should be level

I'd like to break into the 9's and still have a DD eventually. To do this at a minimum I'm thinking I'll have the heads rechambered to drop compression, get a roots style TVS 2300 blower or a stage 6 turbo and run 14 psi boost, and a L and M tranny.

If you wanna break into 9's start thinking about upgrading everything else also. You will eventually need new axels, upgraded diffs, transfercase, exc... running 9's gets very very expensive for jeeps lol.

So a guy in a f-150 5.4 triton with an exhaust wanted to race haha. I knew I would walk all over him so I decided to have some fun. I eased on it and let him keep up with me. I then let off and let him pull about a car length on me. Suddenly I mashed the gas and blasted way past him. The expression on his face at the next light was priceless. He thought he had ME. LOL too funny

So i noticed form your other picks without your back bumper on. Are you running a stock cat back or is that just something you put on when your bumper was off?

No not a stock cat back I run duals in to a dual in single out mangnaflow 18in muffler (with an inbuilt y pipe) and then thru the stock reso and tip. I personally like the look of the hidden stock tip.

If Andy at pwr says it's true it must be

sure there is a core charge, but its only $500 vs $1500 for the 6.1 block. The 5.7 block also has thicker cylinder walls. Its the ideal block for building an engine IMO. Cant really build a 426 or 440 with it though. Although I do have a 416ci 5.7 in my ttruck.

Thinking of swapping in the trans from this monster. It comes with a 6.4 from the factory so if I can make the gearing adjustments in the computer it should be good to go Land vehicle Vehicle Car Motor vehicle Automotive tire
