Re: I Know The Reading is from a Dashhawk But......

I still think the 0-60 is pretty accurate with the DH...All its doing is a stopwatch til it hits the MPH! 1/4mile is obviously another story though! LOL

Exactly quarter mile would be a pretty rough estimate, but like you said, it's measuring speed with a stopwatch. No distance involved.

Yeah but it could think you're at 60mph (anticipate it) when you're actually at 58.7 mph and I think it's fault is actually realizing the correct speed.. hence the inaccurate numbers.

You would need one camera on the DH and another on the speedo to see if they both hit 60 at the same time.

I dont think its anticipating anything...I think when it hits, it hits!

IMO, the Dashhawk gets the MPH imput from the OBD2 that it's plugged into. So when it hits it in the speedo that's when you get the reading on the Dashhawk. Assuming you are using stock size tires and there's no wheel spin the speedometer should be very accurate, if that's the case the Dashhawk should be displaying an accurate reading also. .
