installed SRT8 sway bars to reduce body roll with the new higher center of gravity. These things make the WK handle awesome. 100% on road improvement! They will be disconnected for anything serious off road.

Next up for the rear I wanted to address the slightly altered driveshaft pinion angle and rear axle bieng slightly forward, so I called up Rusty's offroad and they are making rear adjustable LCA's so I can fine tune it. If I want to run a larger diameter tire, the rear axle needs to move back slightly:

Love this look Jay, sorry to hear she's gone....couple of questions:
I've got the 2in RRO BB with 265/70/17 and just ordered the super lift but want to add a little more like you have. I'm planning to put the 2 in pucks on top of the lift in the back and adding biltsein struts and new XK springs in the front. If I want to run 35's would that work or should I add a small spacer to the front? Also, what part number are the Rusty's lower control arms and did that work as you wanted? Did you stick with the Superlift shocks or upgrade in the back? Do you suggest the JBA upper control arms? Also, what size tire are you running in the picture above? I appreciate your feedback and thanks in advance!

Hey there socaljesse!

A few quick answers:
1. The wheels above are 285/70/17s but after the additional lift I switched to 315/70/17. In addition to the flattened pinch weld you will have to hammer that area back about another inch with a sledge .

2. The Rusty's LCAs are great, but they are not an advertised part. I called them up, gave them the length I wanted, and they made the up for me. You can choose what type of flex joints you want too and the price is around $200.

3. JBA makes a solid product, but IMO it is overpriced and their customer service is terrible. Get the RRO UCAs for $100 cheaper and save a buck.

4. I'm not sure of the xk spring length vs the WK, so I can't give a definitive answer.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Jay

Thanks for the info Jay!

Couple more questions:

1- what length and fitting did you request from Rustys for the LCA's?

2- did you use 2 Rustys spacers on top of the bilsteins in front?

Re: Jay's 05 WK Build Thread

Jay,

Being a new member to this place, I'm inspired by everything you've done. I don't have the skills or balls to do some of what you've done, but it's amazing to see what is capable and I'm very excited. I just read through this entire thread from page 1 and was excited to see what was next, and then saddened to see the result.

My next stop will be your new build thread. Keep it up, man.

Would it look weird to do the badge on both the left and right fenders or stick with just the left?
