Re: Jeep in CO Rocky Mountains (PICS)

Thanks. The trail was pretty tame, but the scenery was amazing. Elevation was about 11,000 feet. This trail is located by Keystone, CO. I was able to play with 4Lo and hill descent control. The hill descent control was a little over kill for what I was doing, but it works as advertised. The V6 performed well at elevation. I went over Loveland Pass, which is about 11,900 feet in elevation, and felt like I had plenty of power. There were a few times I was running at 3500 RPM’s, but it wasn’t bad.

Info on the trail: http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=163

How long until your rig comes in? We need to get all the CO members out on a run. I will be the jealous one... once I see your QL system. I could have used a few more inches of ground clearance.

There were a few spots with big a$$ rocks in the way and not much room to avoid them. I was able to make it by them without scrapping. QL just would have made things more relaxing.
