Re: Jeepfreak's SRT build

Got a damn screw in my tire from the parking lot at work today. Discount tire wouldn't fix it because "the tread is to low" so I had to pray I could make it home and swap out the wheels with my chromies. Still doesn't look bad tho with the chrome lol. I kept my black lug nuts on and my srt logo valve step caps.

Just get a tire plug kit from walmart. Thats what I would do.

I used to use a machine with Chemical Guys pads but it took a shit on me so I have been doing it by hand. I use Chemical guys black light wax (they don't make it anymore) and V07 sealant over the top. Gives it a nice depth. This last time I waxed I used Chemical Guys liquid carnauba wax and it was pretty nice. If you have light scratches I would clay bar the whole car, use a machine with some Meguiares 105, then go over it with 205, then wax, and seal. It will look like new paint!

Re: Jeepfreak's SRT build

I'm entering her into a car show next weekend. Should I leave the chrome wheels on or fix and switch back to the black wheels for the show?

Re: Jeepfreak's SRT build

I think what I'm going to do is fix the black wheels and put them back on but use chrome lug nuts this time to break up all the black.
