Introducing Aaliyah

2016 Laredo 4x2. I know what you're thinking. I owned a 1994 wrangler for 14 years so A/C, cruise control, power windows, still seem like a luxury for me. I would like to have the moon roof. I also had a 2011 that I wasn't able to finish building. I don't plan on off roading her at all. I'll get another wrangler for that one day.

Mods done;

Altitude wheels from 2015 "low" altitude, decide on these vs the high altitude ones. Wrapped in Nitto All terrain. Same as stock size

Black gorilla lugs and locks

SRT black tail light bezels

Overland horizontal grille inserts

Black fog light bezels

Altitude headlights with HIDS

Grille rings black, from an SRT

Front Windows tinted 20%, should have done 15%. Shop didn't have 15..

De badged chrome front and side added black OEM jeep logo to the back

Seat covers / wet okole Hawaii

Mats / Jeep brand front, middle and back

Future mods

Vinyl wrap the chrome on the windows and rails, ASAP! Can't wait to get rid of the rest of the chrome.

Leveling kit RRO, possibly.

Matching the front, rear bumper and wheels surrounds body color, possibly. Kinda liking how it looks now.

Below pic prior to swapping the fog light bezels, headlights and grille. Not my house BTW.

It's black / textured rubber, came stock. I am highly considering getting all of the rubber painted body color same as the overlands.

Im digging your powder coated wheels !

Thanks. I like your black out. That's the eighth way to do it. You replaced the rings and fog lights? Did you do rear lights bezels too? I need to black that all out and debadge. I plan on getting the rack powder coated black. Everything else needs new gloss black oem parts. $$$$

Thanks ! Yes replaced them with OEM black ones. Everything was chrome. Back is done as well. I'll post a pic once I blur my license plate. At least the debadging is free 👊🏻.

I just unscrewed it from the bumper. Unfortunately the holes are still there. For a while I took off the bracket and left the screws in the bumper. I recently took them off. In my 2011 I had to pay a body shop to fix it. They had to fill the holes, buff it out and repaint it. It sucks! Wish I could find someone that has a new GC same color as mine that doesn't have the license plate installed that wouldn't mind swapping. That's a long shot. I spoke to my dealer about fixing it but it doesn't seem as though it will happen.

Gotta look really close to see the holes.

Mine is a lease and I don't care that much, but I wish it wasn't there. Leaving the holes there looks awful because its black under the white. I thought about plugging them because they would look similar to the sensors. Not too worried about it.

You could just take off the screws, paint them white and then put them back on. Might look better than the plate?
