Re: My '04 Front End Conversion

Ballin' bro, must've cost you a small fortune to get those parts! End result sure is sweet!

Re: My '04 Front End Conversion

It wasn't too bad really. Here's how it broke down for just the conversion parts.

04 Header Panel $109.10
04 Front Bumper Cover $193.55
04 Bumper Absorber $33.93
04 Grille $50.00 (Thanks to Atilla)
04 Lower Trim Piece $128.70 (Didn't actually get this piece yet)
04 Foglights $40.99 (X2)

Total $597.26

I ended up having to replace a lot more after the accident and with that added cost and the upgrades I made, the total came to $4388.85
Nice thing was that insurance paid for most of it, I only dropped about $300 out of pocket.

Re: My '04 Front End Conversion

I dont get how you did an 04 front end conversion. I have the 04 front end and it has chrome around the edge and then painted silver in middle the overland is all chrome and no painted middle and both have the chrome peice on the bottom lip of the bumper. I agree the 04 front end looks the best of all the years of wj. look in my sig pic.

Re: My '04 Front End Conversion

I have all of that painted black to match the rest of the Jeep. Chuck did the same thing, except his really is an '04.

I just let it sit in the sun for a little and peeled them off with my fingers. Whatever adhesive did not come off, I hit with some GooGone and presto, no more badges.

All the parts are brand new. The grille I got from Atilla. I don't know where he bought it, but he gave it to me and it came primed for paint. I opted to black it out instead of painting the insert silver.
