My 2005 WK 4X2 - Just Getting Started...

Here it is in all its glory! A 2005 WK 4x2 with the 3.7 V6. Got it for utility, not for 4X4. Its turned into my wifes DD. We both love it. Great car for us.

Love this shot!

As it sits we need to do some suspension work to it. Its got 146K on it and has the original struts... I'm not happy about this as it has effected how the car sits. The rear end sags and I believe the rear passenger spring is on its way out. I get no support from it and it sags worse then the driver side. I'm in the process of replacing the dampeners, springs, and a hand full of bushings/stops.

As of today I have picked up a few parts for the suspension. Went over an SRT Jeep forum and picked up some stock SRT springs. Those arrived today! Look good, but I may add a splash of color to them over the next few days. I ordered a lot more parts as well. New strut mounts, top and bottom spring insulators all around, and new struts for it all. I'm want a stock feeling ride with the Jeep lowered a bit so I ended up purchasing some KYB struts.

Lets see how this goes!
