While it is "just a paint code" things like sun fade or different chemicals from one batch to another, quality of said batches. Thats like trying to get your color matched. Then you gotta add the right flake to it and pearl coat

Yeah its tough to get a perfect match. My bodyshop guy who did my bumper used samples to see what shade matched the best. Hopefully it'll fade or kind of blend on its own. If not ill just wrap it or have it re painted. Shouldn't cost too much.

My paint guy at least wants the car there to perfectly color match anything it helps
