Re: Omelet's Build Thread!

I'm positive now that you have the sickest WK on JG. Love it....Makes me want to make school a little less of a priority $$$, haha.

On the exhaust, did you cut that notch yourself? If so, how did you go about it?

Re: Omelet's Build Thread!

Are you asking about this notch in the bumper? If so yes I cut that out with a knife and a dremel. Originally it wasn't quite so large, but after wheeling it over the years the exhaust tip was continually pushed into the bumper melting it and causing the notch to grow.

Still looks good In your pics but that's what I was worried about if i cut into my bumper. I figured it would melt a little. I wonder if there's anything I can cover it with to prevent that, probably not worth the trouble. Thanks again.

As long as you secure the tip so it doesn't move around while you drive it will be fine. The plastic only melts when it comes in contact with the tip. Mine was fine driving around, it was only when I smashed the tip into the bumper on multiple occasions that it melted.

Haha! Just kidding! Here are sone pics:

This is the first set made with two more that will be finishes later this week. All of which are already sold! I would like to thank Jon the owner and Doc the fabricator at the Steel Armadillo for putting these together. They are super stout and ready for a beating!

those are awesome how do you like them? thinking about getting some to help the girl get in and out of my jeep once i put it in the air a few inches. these are the only ones ive seen that actually look like they could handle themselves offroad and have the step to them
