Dam I don't like those at all, I thought they would stick out alot further and cover the same things the 4x ones do

Some fun pics from earlier today!

And some better slider shots!

I also weighed the sliders today, 43lbs per side as apposed to the 4xG rails at 54lbs per side! Just another win for the Steel Armadillo!!!

They use 8 bolts and nutserts per side. 2 on the outside and 6 on the underside. You have to drill all 8 holes none of them are there from the factory.

They stick out even with the tires, I wouldn't want them to protrude any more than they already do. They cover the entire rocker what more is there?

Re: Omelet's Build Thread!

i feel like those almost stick out TOO far lol ... however i like the fact that the function outweighs the fashion in this case!

I got my new antenna in the mail yesterday, but was too busy to instal it. So I just went out and did it! It is a 10" stainless steel antenna powder coated black.

Old vs New:

Once installed:

So much better than that rusted up OEM antenna! This one won't get battered by tree branches either. Thanks wkthursty!!!

One tip, open the hood and hold onto the base of the antenna and twist off the entire antenna assembly and paint it black to match, I hated the 3 tones of color so I did that and it came out great and was a simple job

Re: Omelet's Build Thread!

Love those super sliders! I like the way they stick out. Wait'll a rock wants to reach up and bend your door - then you'll be missing them Good job Omelet!
