Did a little more playing before we left.
Oh Ya! No rubbing!
From there we decided to take a different route out.
It was great until we came to this monster!!!
It is hard to tell but the route the passenger side will take down is quite a bit steeper and deeper than the drive side. We stood there thinking about it for a few minutes and worked out a plan. The plan was to hug the passenger side and try not to slip into the rut (try to ride the ridge) and if that went south then let off the break and let the Jeep dive down with enough forward momentum to keep the rear from coming over. Once the front lands then turn driver (otherwise the Jeep would smash right into the wall) and gas it out of there. Just as soon as I convinced myself that was a good plan a guy on a motorcycle rolled up, surveyed the situation, and said "Bro that looks very sketch, you don't have the travel to pull that off" That when I said "No I think I've got this" and had the fam get out so I could go for it...
... Well it almost went as planned! The one bad thing about these tire, not much sidewall grip. I couldn't stay on line where I has hoping too (In all honesty I didn't think I would) but the rest of the plan worked out perfectly!
After plummeting down and newly tipping, John decided to back track and use the route we took last time (What I should have done!!!).
After we both made it out safely it was a fun successful day! We had a couple close calls, but we learned not to take that way out again
