Re: Omelet's Build Thread!

Today I finally found a SRT8 to park next to for some comparison shots. Granted the Bison is wearing the 295s and not the 35s, but it is a good comparison anyways!

Re: Omelet's Build Thread!

Yep funny stuff! The other WK is Verent's (Verminator) and I believe it is an OME HD lift, a set of 32s (255/70/18) WildPeaks, on 18" Saharas. He did not have any aftermarket skids which is why the pipe was a little iffy. After getting high centered he gave it a couple of tries to get up, but was getting close to the rut on his passenger side rear, so I strapped him and gave a little tug and he crawled right up.

QDII, OME HD, 265/70/18's. Just the stock armor from the off-road package. I have the belly guard from 4xguard on order but they haven't gotten it to me yet.

Nate - youre LED bars are looking BEAST man! That front shot is great. Only a slight diff from the SRT It would be a good pic if the SRT were lowered

Thanks guy I was thrilled to finally find one! And I loved that it was a blue one instead of the typical black or red it would have been perfect if it was lowered and I was running my 35s. That would have made me a couple inches taller!

Slight difference between forward and rear light output.

Rear output using the pair of Hella FF75s with a fog pattern. They give off a wide ring glow, but most of the light is a line (probably because of the oval shaped housing) that I have aimed about 30 yd. behind me.

The front is a whole other story! At this time I have the 42" aimed about 70yd. ahead of me. I think next time I go out I will rotate it up a little.

What I made the camera see.

And what I was actually seeing. Are your eyes burning because mine were!!!

A shot of the rear with just the Hellas on.

And then with the Cree reverse lights on. Notice how the driver side is brighter than the passenger? That is the difference between a 7w and 5w Cree!

And a little shot of the underside looking forward.

Are you trying to recreate the Yankee Stadium? I guess you can play ball at night in the middle of the desert It looks like a lot of fun to me!

Re: Omelet's Build Thread!

Omelet, I probably don't have to tell you that is one serious ride. Jeep should've built that for a Rubicon version of the WK.

Thanks bud and I agree! It is a shame that they didn't because that would have been a great factory WK.
