Finally introducing myself after months of lurking lol. Been a big advocate of Jeeps forever. After building multiple XJ's, a couple WJ's I finally stepped up and graduated to a WK. By far my favorite Jeep thus far. About a month ago I picked up a '05 Hemi WK, QDII Limited. Front struts were blown, EGR was bad, the only fluid that was routinely changed was the engine oil, some light body damage, bad ball joints, and brakes. All that being said for the price I really couldn't pass it up, knowing that it was going to be "upgraded" ASAP. After doing a tune up, changing the EGR valve, new PCV, cleaning the TB, changing tranny filters and fluid, and all the other fluids I got around to modding it some. First was the Volant CAI, then the Gibson CB. Just got around to doing the OME HD and changing out the ball joints(all 4, pain in the a$$). Just added the Flashpaq and am quite amazed with the difference in throttle response and shift points alone on the 87 tune. I'm waiting on some JBA UCA's(GF's XK is getting my stock UCA's w/fresh bj's since her bushings are squeeking to beat hell after a RC 2"). Also am going ahead w/the patent pending "Omelet lift" with spacers front and rear. Big thanks to Omelet btw for all the help via PM's, dude knows his stuff!

As for the name, the gf likes to name all the vehicles and when it came time to name this one she flat out said, " It's Oscar, cause it looks like it crawled out of a trash can!" Bahahaha! Couldn't argue with that. On to the pics!!

"Before we do this, lets go over the ground rules... Rule number one, no touching of the hair or face, AND THATS IT! Now lets do this!"

Thats the only movie that I can laugh at just as hard as every time before it, bricks the shit, I love when he throws a trident into someone in the fight scene, and had a hand grenade outta nowhere haha.

Heres a Brick soundboard haha http://www.hark.com/collections/xrrhjjrryd-brick-tamland

Ron: "Did you throw a trident?"
Brick: "Yeah. There were horses and a man on fire and I killed a guy with a trident."

"I've been meaning to talk to you about that Brick, you should be in hiding."

"Hey Ron, I'm riding a furry tractor!" Bahahaha!

Forgot to post this before I left for the wheeling trip but I also installed some 2" longer bumpstops, had the tip welded straight out in the cut I made in the bumper, and installed a K&N Drycharger on my Volant which I'm pretty sure saved it a couple times. Here's some pics of the bumpstops.

Finally got around to changing out the ignition switch on the WK. I actually did it at work during some down time. All in all takes about 15-20 minutes. Amazing how many different revisions they've done on the switch. My original part number had a prefix of AB, the replacement was AH. That's 6 revisions later. Awesome eh?

That's the switch on the very back of the cylinder housing

I had an opportunity fall in my lap recently and need peoples opinions. In the past i had a WJ Overland I painted some Rubicon wheels on and had sold to a friend of mine. He recently wrecked said WJ and is wanting to sell the rims back to me Hella cheap. Here's some pics of the WJ after i painted the wheels and the WK with the wheels now and some photoshopped pics. Whaddya guys think?

Moabs are a dime a dozen out this way. Too bad shipping is Soo much for wheels. Found two sets of 5 around here for $400 a set with good shape 255/75/17 KM1's!

Just picked them up today. Gonna sand and repaint them before mounting them. Will post pics soon after though!

honestly i like the stock Jeep rims better, i love the look of my rims... im not so sure why everyone is so d!ck hard about Moab rims... i'd pick em up off the guy and sell 'em for a profit... then use that extra money to put back into your Jeep... but hey it's your Jeep and im sure either way it will still look awesome. :)
I don't mind the stock wheels, but I'm not a fan of Chrome all together. Nice thing about the Rubicon rims is they have holes in the back of the rims in-between the lug holes that will allow me to use my 1" spacers.

I agree, BUT only if you do something to remove the chrome, like may plasti dip or something, theres something silly about offroading with chrome rims lol
