This beauty got some spa treatment today. I spent a few hours cleaning her up completely.
Basic car wash.
Meguiars Smooth surface Clay bar.
Meguiars HiTech yellow Wax Liquid #26
This was my first experience using a clay bar and I am very happy with the results. I should have taken some before pictures but I just thought of that.... So all you guys have to look at are the results.
The clay bar was pretty bad on the lower panels. I'm glad I read on here to break it up into a few pieces cause I definitely dropped one piece and almost another. Its amazing how smooth the surface is when it is cleaned that way.
good stuff bro! i'm glad you broke the clay into several pieces! good job not using the dropped piece! truck looks great! throw another layer of #26 on after you do a wash when you can. 2 layers will make sure you covered all the paint
looks great jcostri. maybe i should try theclay bar too. all i use is the meguiar gold class car shampoo, dry, and put a layer of meguiar gold class wax on it.
Yeah Dave I would def. recommend the clay bar. did an awesome job. Meguiars sells a kit with everything you need. Or you can do some research and buy some more aggressive stuff, but the kit was perfect for my first time with it.
