I noticed when I had the wheels off doing the calipers that it would probably be good to have the passenger rear off while doing the muffler - thanks for the tip!!

Re: Reintroducing "HemiDawg"

How is the AFE Stage CAI? DO you like it? Do you notice a bit of a difference?

Where did you get the AFE Stage 2 CAI from?

I cant answer for the magnaflow. But I really dont think the exhaust system changed on them through the years.

I had no idea if mine fit when I first did the exhaust, I just hoped for the best and started cutting, it fit fine

Plus, any exhaust shop can weld up a hanger for you if one is misplaced or something.

Also, if you want sound, I dunno if I would get the magnaflow, get something with a 3 inch pipe instead of the same size as stock ( Magnaflow)... The gibson and MBRP exhaust are both 3inches. The Gibson even has a reso.

Edit: BTW, awesome looking ride

Unfortunately I have not driven it since the install - we had some bad weather here on Saturday, so I didn't want to take her out. Then Sunday I cleaned her up for the photoshoot, but only drove her up to the top of the driveway. This is the wife's daily driver for now - not sure she is going to be able to tell a difference.

Bought it direct from AFE (www.afepower.com). They are currently running a $25 rebate on all Stage 2 intakes.

I do want a little deeper sound, but nothing that is going to piss the wife off bc she very often is on a conference call in the Jeep. I just wanted something with some grunt when you put your foot into it. I'll try it out for awhile and then once it becomes my daily driver and I want more, I'll put a different system on. Thanks for the recommendations and info though.

Thanks Chris, but I think you have me confused with another "HemiDawg" from another site. I chose this username on this site, but then when I tried to register it on another site it said it was already in use. I had to register as " HemiDawg"S" " over there. I hardly ever visit that site though.

You have any close-up pics of your spoiler??
