Re: Richie's Supercharged 4.7HO

Signing up and signing on just to subscribe to this thread. I'm very interested in doing a milder version of this on my rally chase truck.

So it looks as if Paxton dropped their kit as well, leaving kits completely dead in the water near as I can tell. I just need to get hold of a drawing or bracket for the mount so I can reproduce it!

Good job on the buildup, and thanks for putting the SC itch back in me.

Re: Richie's Supercharged 4.7HO

Thank you. I would like to get measurements of the brackets atr some point. I hope very soon to be driving this again. I am planning on getting a boost limiting valve to keep boost levels down for everyday driveability.

I also picked up a donor hood today to have my hood transformed to cover my supercharger and add a little cool factor to it.

The supercharger sticks through right now. Even though it's kinds cool, it lets rain in, leaves in and whatever else that happens to come close to the force of 1,400 CFM being sucked into the inlet of the supercharger.

Re: Richie's Supercharged 4.7HO

Talked to Paxton today just out of curiosity. The confirmed that the 4.7L kit was discontinued, and when I asked about a file on the bracket they told me they scrap all the documentation and files on discontinued parts...bummer.

Interesting... I'd definitely want mine to fit under hood.

The NOVI 1000 I made fit under the hood. I wanted it to stick through the hood with the NOVI 2000 but it's been more of a pain then good for a daily driver, so I am having my hood modified to cover it.
