Re: The Lucy Build.

Took her out for a drive today after a week of not driving and she feels amazing! The rear feel stiff and not bouncy at all. Right now currently debating whether or not to take of the air dam any thoughts? thanks.

Also, if there is anyone of fb follow the jeep wk group lots of knowledge and ideas bouncing back and fourth. Foods for thought!

Re: The Lucy Build.

I like the cut down air dam on yours. If it isn't in the way of anything I'd leave it. Going in the morning to pick up my new to me 255/75/17 bfg mt. Then all I have to do is get the lift on. Thinking in spring I'll put on the mll in the rear and bilsteins in front. As it sits now I have kyb in the rear and quick struts in front. Both fairly new.

I was thinking the same thing im not driving her till Friday so im not too worried about it. No way! They make noise just giving you a heads up. Around 75mph they will start annoying you but they are freaking awesome I dont mind them I love them. Super aggressive threading too.

Re: The Lucy Build.

keep an eye on those MLLs- I ran a set of them in the past and the rubber boot that runs along the body of the shock ends up slipping off(adhesive fails) and youll end up with a noisy knock/rattle in the rear of the coil hitting against the body of the shock. there is a remedy for this... just a PITA to have to uninstall them and reinstall.

Re: The Lucy Build.

Just out of curiosity , if not the bfg mt tires ...then what would you choose? I don't mind an at tire, but like the aggressive look.
Alot of things while driving here in Springfield Illinois bothers me. Used to live in Vegas and the west coast roads are nothing like what u have.. Pot holes that can swallow small cars...the roads, highways and interstate all suck here.
I had 33" mickey Thompsons mtz on my 02 Dakota quad cab and they were pretty aggressive, but don't remember the road noise....
Anyway ...maybe give me some ideas...I'm holding off on the bfgs for a minute.not really excited about dumping 1200 into new tires. My duellers only have about 10k on them but only 245s
