Actually now looking back I didn't have that many problems really. Some of it was just because of lack of experience. All I really had issues with was the cv joints, and upper ball joints but to be honest that was probably because of my lift not the engine.

well there may be a cheaper route.... you could pull a hemi from a ram and have it worked so that is a 6.1 or bigger. heck you could take the 5.7 block to a 6.8 and with the right heads and cam with tune make in excess of 650hp

Really but what can I do without changing the tranny? I mean we discussed that a 6.1 hemi engine can be swapped with the same tranny still intact right?

well at that power level youll be looking for a new tranny anyways. but you could test fit the stock one and if it fits, get a built version of it and sell the stocker to someone who may need it.

How much power can our tranny hold?

Biggest I've seen is a 6.7L 410 ci. I think over 650 is a bit optimistic bro. I'm pushing 6.6L and a good set of heads and cam and only making about 550. I told Alex if he is on a budget we could do a 6.1 bottom end and 5.7 heads and that should put him around 400 hp.

The nag1? It should be fine with it. It's what the SRT's use. It'll bolt up
