You're not understanding what I meant.

I meant that in order to take advantage of the 180 t-stat, you have to modify the settings of the hydraulic fan to come on earlier. The stock program lets it spin from 100-500 rpm at all times, and it comes on at high speed at 220* F. My truck will hold 180 no problem on the highway, but sitting in traffic it will creep up to 195. This is on the stock tune.

Cool pic Ryan....we need to meet up again so I can take some pix of the PDR WJ's...

Complete opposites of each other, yet still so similar!

Hannes....PDR? I'm not sure what that stands for. Paintless Dent Removal?

I dropped the ball on us meeting up again these last few weeks, very very sorry. I've been swamped with backed up porting work and school (not in that order).

I actually need to see you to hear your exhaust setup with the stock metallic precats and no 3rd cat....I believe the ceramics I hastily purchased and had welded in last year are either starting to clog up or come apart (have a rattle again... ) . I am debating either gutting them, running straight pipe through them, or just running metallics in their place (all of these is with the metallic 3rd cat). The issue is O2 related CEL's and noise. I ran modded OEM precats with no 3rd cat with the 4x14" Mag and it was WAY too loud.

Re: The Sleepy 4.7..................

This pic was taken about 8 months ago at Orlando Spin World....I bring you the world's first WJ with a ZJ tailpipe! thanks KOLAK!

After much arguing and finger pointing I eventually had a WJ tailpipe sent out to me.

Re: The Sleepy 4.7..................

PDR = Graphite Metallic Ryan!! Can't believe you forgot those 3 letters...LOL!!

WOW that ZJ tailpipe looks sooooooooooooo weird on there....totally out of place!

Mine is LOUD! And that loudness together with the you know what sound it makes at WOT shifts...I almost wanna put a "quieter" muffler, or resonator, or something on it...you'll hear it soon tho!

What is the significance of the letters PDR? I knew the paint is Graphite Metallic but that was it...

it started to grow on me after a while, but I prefer the very stealthy WJ tailpipe instead.

Per our discussion tonight, I think I'm just gonna swap the ceramics out for some metallics instead. I don't have that farting noise at all.

Re: The Sleepy 4.7..................

Ryan are you keeping the lift on? Im sure the lift isn't helping you with the times your are trying to obtain.

Re: The Sleepy 4.7..................

I am Alfredo. The tires hurt me more than the lift, and I plan on at some point picking up some torque thrust 2's that will either reduce that weight gain or completely offset it. I've got some other issues holding me back at the moment
