Bone stock 3.7 Laredo. Picked up a cool November night, 2009.

First mod... added Fogs to it.

After that came new door speakers and a new head unit.

Then I just had to have a set of the LED tails. They just looked awesome.

Shortly after came my subs and amp install. 2x Rockford Fosgate Stage 3 Punch’s with an A3000Db Power Acoustik amp pushing both. Custom box with a little groove on top to still fit UNDER the security cover so no one knows I have it. Also added a Voltmeter to keep an eye on things. Damn glad I have it.

Soon came exhaust. Full Magnaflow catback was the choice.

Then, wheels, tires, and suspension was all done within a week of each other!

My next little project was to vinyl my pillars black and debadge. Very pleased with my results.

Shorty antenna... even though I must say, my HD receiever in the headunit isnt a fan. This thing doesnt pick up too well compared to the stock fishing pole. Oh well... I usually listen to CD’s anyway. Most of the garbage on the radio is.. well... garbage.

I had also decided to paint my calipers using G2 paint. There is a write-up on here somewhere.

Then I did my K&N. Self explanatory.

I installed LED brows similar of course to what the Audi’s have.

While the grill was removed to install the brows and run wires, I decided to do a do-it-yourself grill using a nice mesh from Home Depot. Looks similar to the SRT’s but personally I like it more, and for a $20 personal project, its a hell of a lot cheaper than an SRT grill itself!! (good picture of it in the fog HID comparison photo)

I had installed the LED brows about a day before I did my HID install. I wanted to make sure the colors matched (or were at least close) before I put them on.

I also added some interior ambient lighting. It’s a nice blue to match... well... all my blue stuff on the car!

Oh yeah... custom plate too. :)

Most recent pic is that one with the yellow background. That was about 4 days ago. Overall... I love my jeep.

Vary nice ride. their's a few of those things i am wanting to do. nice mods.:thumbsup:

Thanks guys. Yeah the calipers are something really different. Its a nice touch and honestly really easy to do. Just takes a little time and patience to do. But, well worth it.

The 1 thing I want REALLY badly is to get a rolling shot of my WK. To see how it looks and everything. One of these days... I'll get around to it.

I like the Magnaflow. Decent sound, def. noticeable from stock. Pretty easy install. took more time to remove the stock than put the Magnaflow on.

thanks guys!!

I could only imagine how long it would take you to do a thread like this Scott. Haha... nothing as long as Hamzee's but... def. long I'm sure!

I am still contemplating get the Magnaflow catback. Is it completely bolt-on or did you have to cut any of the existing pipes?

I do mostly highway driving, do you notice a drone at cruising speeds on the highway? Any chance you could get a video of startup and revving, and maybe even puttin around town?

Either way, your Jeep looks great!!

Buy some matte black vinyl. measure out accordingly. pull off the window seals and then just go for it.

there is a thread on here somewhere of an old member Matt who did his pillars with a nice how-to. check it out in the How-To threads section.

def one of my fav WKs..how your subs hit? love RF!

#25 ·
very nice man! what the wattage on the RFs?

#26 ·
say about 500-1000 each and the amps max rating is 3000 watts... what is it actually... not sure?

I'm usually running about 14.4 volts from the battery... consider a 125amp fuse, about 10-15 feet of wire for it, how much the amp is actually turned up...

yeah. not sure how much is actually being pushed to them. either way. they are good. but over time, ive developed a need for something stronger.
