This Is What A Jeep Is Meant For - Offroading

Went through a couple local trails today. There was supposed to be another truck joining but he wasn't able to at the last minute so we went solo.

The end of one part of the trail...a 4ft+ deep swamp.

Almost got stuck pulling in a bit for that ^ pic but with the 3 others on the back bumper it barely managed to dig its way out

Before:

After:

The second trail had too many mud pits that were a bit too deep for me to dive into without another rig there. Nothing all that picture-worthy.

Awesome pics man! Looks like a lot of fun. Next time I get down to the family property in New Kent, I'll mud it up and post up some pics!

Dang - that's some mud there! How long does it take to get it looking like the before picture again after playing in the mud?

10 mins with a pressure washer. My friend's got one we use and I'm about to buy my own now that these trips are becoming more and more frequent.

Re: This Is What A Jeep Is Meant For - Offroading

And for anyone curious as to how the 3.7 and QDI perform, I haven't driven any other rigs off road but this thing seems unstoppable. The only times I get worried is when the mud's just way too slick for the A/Ts (if only muds were more practical!) and when the water's high enough for me to have to worry about hydrolocking. Apart from that, this thing has had no trouble - flys up hills, pops out of ruts almost as deep as the tires, etc.

Nice. I really like the white and black (and brown ) theme that you have going on..

Haha thank you

I've tried to keep it as close to that theme as possible and now I'm thinking the wheels will have to go for some Rockstars cause the chrome isn't really fitting the look I'm going for.
