Got up real early and drove from Detroit to Cleveland for a day at the track. I have never driven my Jeep in this configuration that far before, but it was great! Cruised the Ohio turnpike at 85!
The track was cold and the weather was gloomy all day. Most everyone where having problems hooking. I had my share of computer problems The Jeep tore up the streets, but at the track kept going into limp mode every time it shifted into 3rd.
Then to top it off, as I was recording John Force driving my Jeep (JK) the sound kicks off As you can see in the video when the rail went by, it was so fricken loud the sound stopped recording! Damn!!
^^ Yea. Every time the Jeep went to the line people were running up there to look. LOL I had the transfer case motor removed because there was a failed part in the Tcase so it was only running 2wd. I was hoping that with the 345 drag radials would hook better.
Builder Bill is working on a solution. My Jeep has wiped out 3 transfer cases so far. It's a OEM part that is failing. Actuator motor is working just fine. To fine in fact. It is mangling the parts inside that put pressure on the clutches
Its basically a stock set up. Kooks long tube headers, cat delete pipes and a B&B exhaust. Looking at it from the underside kooks no different then stock except for the rear diff, custom drive shafts and a safety loop. Oh, and the battery is relocated to the passenger rear.
