I'm in Sherman Oaks, right by the Fashion Square Mall. And yep, you're running the same setup I will have once I retrofit the headlights too. We can chase the blue HID folks around with our wicked yellow fogs.

Next up is a lift and new tires. Mine are pretty bald, and I figure if I am buying new tires anyway, why not add a lift and add big meaty ones? How are the stubby antennas when it comes to reception? I have a 1 disc CD player and sometimes I get bored and switch to the radio, so I don't want to lose quality. That said, I will probably drop a navigation unit, or at least one with an aux port, later on so I can enjoy tunes from my iPhone instead.

Red calipers look good on a lot of colors, which is probably why they are so prevalent. With a green car, I'd feel like I'm rocking Christmas tree colors if I accessorized with red, plus this way my fogs match my calipers.

Man, I need to move to Cali so I can join the 3K squad and we can roll hard against those 8K+ PnP kits.

As a matter of fact we should start a 3K fogs group on here

A few quick phone pics of the WK in sunlight, including a close up of one of the wheels + calipers.

My baby is so dirrrrty!

And this will be part of my project for tomorrow:

Fog lights! My WK didn't come with them originally (it actually didn't come with any options besides the cargo cover) so I'm adding them this week.

That's make sense. I hate when they cut corners on lower tiers by removing the fogs.

Indeed. I am so used to having fogs since my last car, a 2002 VW Beetle 1.8L Turbo, had them. It actually had a LOT of features that my WK doesn't since it was fully loaded. Eventually I plan to build up the WK to be fully loaded as well, but all custom aftermarket work. Leather will definitely be on my list of 'things to do' later on because the WK cloth seats are terrible when it comes to staining. As a pet owner, it's a big no no for me. In fact, within the first week of owning my WK, my dog pooped on the back seat because the new car was apparently scary Thankfully I attacked it with fabric cleaner ASAP and no damage was done. Even so, the seats have water stains all over them because the little hole in the wall dealer who reconditioned this car must have wet them down quite a bit to wash them. :/ I can't seem to get those stains out, either.

I may also look into aftermarket sunroof options because I really miss being able to air out and soak up the sun without having to roll down my windows and have my hair whipped all over my face while driving. :P Both that and the leather will have to wait a good long while though, as both will be rather expensive upgrades.

Anyhow, unrelated, but here's a photo of the little rascal who 'christened' my WK's back seat.

Re: WildVisionsWK - Build Thread

Aftermarket leather seats and a sunroof sound like ambitious ideas

Nothing is outside the realm of possibilities so good luck!
