Re: Arrington CAI Installed.

looking at the picture again, i dont know how much bigger you can go on the filter

it seems like it may only have an inch or so on each side, unless you are planning on going with a longer filter.

keep us posted with pics please, i may do this myself some time soon

Re: Arrington CAI Installed.

Driven a little over 100miles with it on so far. Definitely peppier off the line as I was spinning the tires pretty often.....and wasn't with the bwoody on there.

Snapped some pics earlier in the daylight......added them to the first post as well:

Yep, can't really go much wider at the base, but you can go longer.

Re: Arrington CAI Installed.

Is the shorter line intentional and designed to be just inboard of the intake gasket to prevent junk/water from hitting the filter directly?

Meanwhile, that thing looks like it could suck a basketball through a garden hose. Me likely.

Re: Arrington CAI Installed.

Now I think I need to change up my coil pack covers on the engine.....the hydroprint carbon there does not match the carbon of the intake. Damn!

LOL

Re: Arrington CAI Installed.

Here is mine. I painted the heat shield with spray can paint. Not the best, but I liked it better than the bare metal. I also replaced the filther with a larger AMSOL filter.
