Re: Arrington CAI Installed.

def switching to arrington real soon, and carbon fibering everything under the hood. couple of questions tho......

1. where can i get a bigger quality filter? i understand that a filter is a filter, but i would prefer a quality part, rather than a bullshit (yet larger) filter
2. does the elbow come with the intake? i think i read that the elbow is a stock piece, but i sold my old intake, with all of its accessories
3. blackops, you better be ready for me. ill take almost everything you have carbon fiber

ps. does this thread have any potential for a group buy?

DCSpecial has much to be proud of
Re: Arrington CAI Installed.

AFE and others sell a few different filters that are larger. Need to measure and see how long of a filter I can run. I was looking at some AFE filters that were 8", 10" and 12" long.

The elbow does come with the intake (either for the stock TB or a 90-100mm TB depending on what you specify when you order. It has everything that you need for installation. Comes in a box with a ton of packing peanuts to prevent any damage.

As for a group buy on the intake.....I don't think there is really much room beyond the sale pricing that Arrington currently has on them.

Re: Arrington CAI Installed.

I actually have that Jeep now. I just had to order a new filter for it. I love this intake.

It is on a 5.7. I can snap a pic if need be.

It doesn't look much different than what has been shown previously.
