Here's a pic in progress of a twin turbo Jeep SRT8 being built for PWR. It's got twin 67mm Comp Turbos. Motor will be forged. It's being built for one of our soldiers over in Afgan named Ryan. He comes home in Sept. and can't wait for him to see this thing when it's done. Enjoy.

The stock fan is still one there. The SRT8's come with an eletric fan, not like the 5.7's.

Thanks for all the words guys. We appreciate it. This is the first time anyone has ever done a build like this. Kinda fun being the first. There's one other I saw but it was a fake photo. It was non functional just for looks for drumming up business. This beeotch is gonna run. We are expecting well over 1000rwhp with this......... if the owner wants to turn it up that high.:)

Ahh understood. I didn't know that :)

On a side note, have you had the opportunity to try any of the new Borg Warner turbos? If not, I can highly recommend you get your mits on some!
Their response and abilities are totally out of this world.

We are dealers for Precision. We've been running them for maybe 10 years now. We've put on though just about every turbo there is. We do a ton of import and race car stuff too.

These Comp Turbos that are on here are pretty cool indeed. They're self lubricating so there are no oil lines to run. You have to grease the bearing every 50K miles. They're liquid cooled too. I'm kinda anxious to see how they perform. First time using these actually. Should be cool.

Wow that is amazing... I would love to see that thing... The good news I live in Jacksonville and would be able to see this beast... The bad news I just left on another deployment, but I will be stopping by and checking out your products when I get home I never knew about stage 6 and I have been very busy with work the past year and haven't been able to get on to JG.

We've been around since 2002 bro. We are off Philips Hwy. and University area. Sadly, this Jeep will be gone by the time you get back home.:( It gets tuned on Aug. 27th then goes home to Ryan when he gets home from Afgan on the 31st. Hopefully this won't be our last TT. People have been all over us about it. Stay tuned for the dyno numbers. Ryan wants only 1000rwhp. which should be pretty easy so that's where we will stop when we tune it. Stay tuned.

LOL.... only 1,000 HP... any more would be excessive.

Haha seriously, that's 4 times what mine makes now. The things I'd do for something like that

But how much will go to the wheels?

What mod would allow the most to the wheels?

#23 ·
Ooooops didn't see "rwhp" lol.

Damn. That's a lot of power.

#24 ·
Hehe.... yup. Twin turbos will give you the most power out of anything available..... unless you're talking dragster engines. A single turbo can be capable of the same power levels, just gonna be a big ass turbo. One day I may go up to an 88mm. turbo on mine which is capable of 1500 but for now, the 1200hp single 76mm. I haev is good enough for me. I could always add another 76mm. and be capable of 2400hp. but I don't think there a HEMI engine that could hold that right now.:(

How long will your WK last with boost in the engine like that?

#26 ·
My Jeep runs around town on 7psi. It'll last just fine. I've got 88K on my engine and it's been boosted now for about 7K. I DD my Jeep everyday. I'm still running the stock bottom end also. My tune is perfect. Not much timing and perfect AFR's.

Sadly, I won't get to find out how long it'll last as I'm having a new engine built for it now. Going forged so I can turn up the boost. The twin turbo being built in this thread will have a forged 392 in it. He will run around town with 700rwhp. then turn it up to 1000rwhp for the track with race gas.

I know what in doing when I fall into money.

How much all would all of this cost? The twin turbo build that is?

#28 ·
We haven't really come up with a twin kit price yet. This kit is a single one off we are doing for Performance Werks Racing. We really deal with single turbos. A single will give the average person more hp. than they can handle. Our single kits start at $8999 installed and go up to $11,999 for the monster kit capable of 1000rwhp. We did one Jeep with a single like mine with a forged 392 in it and Keoni went 9.95@139.

Out of curiosity...have you given any thought to any ideas regarding enhancing the power output on the new Non-SRT WK2 GC's with the 5.7 HEMI with QDII???

I have a feeling that after taking delivery of mine and driving it for awhile, I will want to bump it from stock to about 500hp (given it's curb weight)...nothing huge, but just so I can move thru traffic a little quicker (the essence of "on-demand" thrust when passing). ;)

As of right now..... tuning is locked for the 2011 5.7's as well as the 6.4's. We can turbocharge anything really as long as it can be tuned. If someone's will to have it done, then bring it on.:)

Nice project Harrison....
Where's this beast sleep?
It sleeps in the shop right now. Haha. Ryan lives up in Jersey I believe.

Ryans jeep is going to be INSANE!
Yes it is Johnny..... yes it is. I can't wait to drive it a little.:)
