The plugs should be fine unless your going to use boost and nitrous together. I run NGK also. I will run the Brisk's once my N2O setup is done.
My oil return line is tapped into my passenger side composite valve cover with a regular brass fitting. Becareful as it is composite, a better fitting would be a Magnafuel AN bulkhead fitting sized to your needs.
If I was going to tap the pan I'd definately remove the pan, as like you said there is going to be shavings in there and that's very bad.
Some pics of your turbo setup and how/where it is mounted and the return system used would help.
