Info needed for tapping oil pan for my oil return line

Okay turbos guys chime in on this if you will... Im needing to tap my pan for my oil return line. Ive heard the you guys arent even dropping the pan that yal are using a $50 return kit with all the tools and hardware needed....and flushing any shavings that fall in the pan with cheap oil. Chime in any help would be much appreciative.

Also-- what plugs you guys running? i got the ngk 1 step colder that i was running with my nitrous (gapped at .035). Ive heard F/I guys are using Brisk....

thanks

Re: Info needed for tapping oil pan for my oil return line

The plugs should be fine unless your going to use boost and nitrous together. I run NGK also. I will run the Brisk's once my N2O setup is done.

My oil return line is tapped into my passenger side composite valve cover with a regular brass fitting. Becareful as it is composite, a better fitting would be a Magnafuel AN bulkhead fitting sized to your needs.

If I was going to tap the pan I'd definately remove the pan, as like you said there is going to be shavings in there and that's very bad.

Some pics of your turbo setup and how/where it is mounted and the return system used would help.
