Re: 6-speed in an Jeep SRT8

I was thinking why can't we have a 6spd auto?! My wife's Ford Adrenalin (special edition in the SportTrac) had an A6 behind it's Mustang GT motor. So why the hell can't the SRT8s?!?

Re: 6-speed in an Jeep SRT8

Because Chrysler doesn't have access to a RWD/AWD 6 speed auto. If anything I'd look at putting in the Mercedes 7 speed, but with the cost and electronics crap, probably not worth the trouble.

Because Mercedes didn't want to spend a ton of money on Chrysler. The way I see it, Mercedes treated Chrysler like a "we will see how it goes" test auto maker. Really, look at all of the crappy cars that has came out that is now gone.....

Re: 6-speed in an Jeep SRT8

In the insurance settlement I retained the title. One day it will be a track only Jeep. Rear wheel drive, 540ci motor, stripped out... You get the idea.

It made news around the world a few weeks after the innocent. This was one of the better articles, with a video! Sorry for the hijack..

Since I live in the general area, can you take me for a ride in one of the SRTs so I can see what others are saying? (I'm kind of not joking )

Anytime... But I'm kinda in a pinch right now. The Jeep is in the garage with about 8 oz's of fuel I can't find C16 anywhere, locally. I was told 94 would be fine if "you stay out of the boost" I'll find it somewhere!! LOL
