Re: Differences between built trannys

Nah, he flushed it. Said something about running 20 quarts of fluid through the machine and tranny, though he only charged me for 7 quarts. Changed the filter too.

The issue was rough engagement when cold and not engaging so good on the highway. It feels exactly the same right now. I'll give it a few days and see if anything changes. I gotta go back next week for ordered parts anyway.

No, not directing anything at anyone. Just sharing my experience with AJ. I was there when Milke dropped his Jeep, I never met him or saw a pick!!

The reason I asked is because I have never seen a flush fix anything. Just my opinion. I have been building these (722.6/NAG1) transmissions since 1997. I would say that you have excessive clutch clearance and/or a seal leak.
How much power are you making?

Was it a while back? He purchased a kit from us a while back.

We don't know how much power exactly. On the Dyno Dynamics dyno, she put down 392/384, however, that was with tons of KR. On the street she was seeing 105% duty cycle on the stock injectors, which is way more then the ~500 those numbers equate to.

The 115mph trap also says the numbers are higher.

Re: Differences between built trannys

Well, it doesn't seem to have worked. Tonight I floored the pedal for a downshift, and didn't get it. Didn't get much of anything actually. The motor just lugged as the rpms slowly went up. Damn.
