The ride so far after one front adjustment only is good so far. The tool Ksport supplies to adjust the damper is too short to turn for firmness. I had to use a 3mm allen that I had and I just turned it till I couldn't anymore. That is my scientific adjustment so far. I now have a 3mm x 9" allen but want to see how this setting works for now. Have not gone out on the construction filled roads of Chicagoland yet to check the front firmness but so far I like it on my trip to the store. The rears are definitely stiffer than stock but now much better after I set them to K sports recommendation. I will keep updating as I drive it more. Let me know if you need any more info or pics.

Re: My coil over before and after

For those that have the coil overs, you might want to contact K sport and get longer damper adjusters. You could also buy your own but the ones sent in the kit are too small for adjusting when installed in the Jeep. My new ones arrived today. 6 inches instead of 3 something.

I'm not going to the track till next year. New trans and coil overs sucked my road course money out of my pocket. I can get you some street video if you like but I am sure there will be people complaining about my driving.

Re: My coil over before and after

Here is what I sent to robpp when he asked my opinion.

Well, first off the rears are stiff. They do not bottom out even with about only 2 inches of travel. If you have driven a stock SRT there is a big difference from that to the K sport's. It hasn't been bad since I found out how to set them properly. When I first put them on I had them extended all the way out and even while towing a 2500# boat and going through construction transitions it wouldn't budge but with that said it was horrible. It was so harsh it knocked the safety chains out. I didn't get the fronts on for another week or so after that. I left them at the setting they came from K sport. The setting they were at was pretty soft and it would bottom out if you went over something hard enough. I then used the adjusting tools that came with the kit. They were too short but I was able to stiffen them up as far as they would go with this size. I contacted K sport and told them of my issues and they actually sent out a larger size without any hassles. That setting was still a little soft because the rear was still stiffer than the front, it acted a little bouncy. So just last week I counted the clicks on the damper setting. Right now I am 8 clicks from full firm and it is much better, will probably go a couple more clicks as I want it a little tighter. I am at 31 1/4 all around so if you want to run a softer setting I would suggest a higher height or hope you have better roads in CO. One of the nice things about these is each one is adjustable so if your jeep leans to one side like mine did you can adjust the right side more than the left. I actually have the right side set 1/4" lower than the left to even things out. I really wish we had these earlier so I could give a better opinion but my next track day won't be till next year.
