Re: My coil over before and after

I drove Chad's Jeep with the Ksport coilovers yesterday now that he has adjusted them.

I will add my opinion since I've driven a stock SRT8, Eibach lowered SRT8 (my Jeep) and a couple with the Road Magnet 1.0/1.7 springs.

I like the coilovers how Chad has them setup.....a little firmer than Eibachs, but a very controlled rebound which I like. Definitely the best setup for road racing or if you just like to run your Jeep hard through the turns.
I'm a fan.....of course I wasn't a fan of the handling of my SRT8 stock as I thought it was too soft so my perspective may be different than that of other people.

Re: My coil over before and after

Another nice thing, which I forgot to mention, when you go over big dips in the road at a higher rate of speed is when you really notice how much more controlled the ride is. Very nice as you don't keep bouncing up and down as you do with the stock shocks and struts.

I know how Chad drives and he gives me the green light to drive his Jeep hard as well so it is always fun to see how the mods he has that I don't (Ksports, SHR trans, and Headers) compare to my Jeep as I enjoy pushing my Jeep hard in the turns as well.

I'm not sure if a soft rear or hard rear is what you need for drag racing. If a firm rear is what you need then I would think that they would be good. The rear is very firm and is only adjustable to make it firmer by raising the shock in lower housing. They aren't really coil overs in the back. It is our stock setup with an adjustable perch and an adjustable shock but the shock can only lowered or raised in the shock housing,it still keep the shock firmness. There is no damper adjustability.

Rob, the place that was supposed to have exclusive rights was www.horsepowerfreaks.com, the guy Branden Rosa works for them. I have checked out their website and they don't have them listed there yet. If you need his email address it was in the emails that you forwarded to me.
