So, StopTech has asked "how much support is there for their SS brake lines?".
Further more, I think they would like to see just how many of us want the BigBrake system they are soon to produce.

Well, lets show them just how many of us need/want this mod.

FWIW - does anyone have a set of stock SRT8 brake hoses I could have for test fitting? Have two places that would like to see a set so they could try and make some stainless sets. I dont really want to buy another set just for this project but if I have to, I guess I may . . .

Oh no Im with ya Rob! I talked to few people at Stoptech about it. The rear drivers side 3 way fitting is the issue everyone is having in keeping cost down - real odd choice by Jeep if you ask me, not sure what the reasoning was behind that

Anyway If I can get a set I can most defintley have a prototype made. Cost will likely be high but at some point someone has to take the plunge so I think I may be sometime soon

link to issue: (3) 3/8" fittings on this one hose is killing these things from being produced

f the masses.....get your set and move on.

there was a place making them at one point but you sent him your stock ones or new ones and he used the fittings and ss line to make you a new set. it was caller mastertech or something like that.

also bwoody was selling some a long time before that.

at this point......i would get a set for yourself custom made from a set of stockers and enjoy/

Yeah I guess your right Rob! I kinda wanted to help the jeep guys out once and bring something functional and something that provides some tangible value to the table but at the same time, its a total headache. Just sucks some thing have to be this way but I think you're right. Either way Im gonna get ripped on a set, from what develops we shall see

I did mine last week as well, I think I have a photo floating around let me see if I can fig it up - did not get a chance to drive around after they were installed but will report back when I do.

Installation was straight forward and the kits were not missing any parts. :)
