120V Power TV?

Hey guys, have any of you tried powering a TV by plugging it into the supplied AC outlet in the Jeep? Does it provide enough juice? How long can I expect it to last on the battery?

Re: 120V Power TV?

Compare the wattage requirements for the individual TV you are considering powering with the specifications in your JGC manual. It does have a relatively low power limit...largely designed for small electronic chargers, laptops, etc. If it's at or under the wattage that the outlet can supply, you'll be fine powering the TV from that outlet. 'Hard to say how long it will play purely on battery, but I suspect most folks start the vehicle from time to time to keep the charge up...
