2 Nav questions- Nav not in 3D, and order of touch buttons

Just recently found this forum, great resource.

Have a '14 Summit ecodiesel. I've spend months trying to figure out these two questions, dealer has been no help. Maybe folks here know....

With my Nav set to 3D, it's still just a flat layout on the screen. My Yukon Denali 3D is far better as a true 3D display. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong in the settings?

At the bottom of the screen, the touch buttons start with radio, work their way across to the phone button all the way on the right. I'd much rather have phone closest to the driver. Any way to change the order of these touch buttons?

To change the order of the buttons you should be able to drag and drop from the main apps screen.

As for the 3D items, IIRC, 3D content is only available for certain areas. For instance, I'm in NJ and 3D buildings have only showed when I'm driving around Downtown Jersey City.

The 3D is only available in certain large metro areas, as el_vago32 has said. The drag and drop option for the function buttons is not available on the '14MY.

I have a 2016 with the "3D" maps and it is definitely not a very good 3D map. If you look very carefully as you move from 2D to 3D you will see the angle changes ever so slightly. In my city (Edmonton, AB, Canada) I have only noticed about 4 buildings in the downtown area that are actually 3D. I regularly drive a 2014 Ford with nav and its 3D shows more buildings, but not many. My 2012 BMW 535 shows all buildings downtown, and things like houses (including rear detached garages if they have it) for almost 1/4 of the city. Significantly more impressive.

Not sure what should be expected or what the majority of manufacturers show, but I am disappointed in the "3D" function on the Jeep, especially considering it is 2016.
