Re: 2011 Grand cherokee aftermarket stereo install help!!

Hi Guys, I am from Australia and I am looking to do the same after market installation for my GC 2011 . Can anyone point me to which SatNav system is most compatible and easy to install ?

Would I be able to do this installation myself, or what kind of expertise are we looking at do this?

Also, if anyone could point me to the choice of system and the cheapest place to import it from, would be very helpful.

I am about to install the same head unit in my 2011, what area did you "shaved off the inside frame a little with a dremel to make it fit"? Do you have the factory sub? I was thinking of adding one to mine while I'm doing the head unit. And a rear cam, whey not..

I'm also curious if you lose the functions on your steering wheel?

As long as you use the PAC adapter you should have all the controls with stock. I changed mine around on my Ford, moved the Mute so it was easy to hit...
