2013 - 430N/RHB Freezes When Connecting to Bluetooth

I have a 2013 Grand Cherokee with the 430N/RHB unit. Lately whenever I try to connect to Bluetooth, the unit freezes about half the time. I'm not able to turn the unit off because it's totally unresponsive. I have to turn off my vehicle and wait about 5 minutes before the unit turns off.

Anybody else experience this issue?

Re: 2013 - 430N/RHB Freezes When Connecting to Bluetooth

FYI, your radio never really turns completely off.

There is always power to the radio.

Open your fuse box and locate the radio fuse (or fuses, I can't remember) and pull them for a few minutes and then reinstall.

The radio is basically a 'dumb' computer and as we all know computers sometimes need a complete power down.

Though I did have a Linux server that ran for over 900 days without a reboot back in the days before there were so many kernal updates.
