Update- seems the speaker broken a little and sounds a lot better plus I play more music off my SD memory card which sounds great. I still have issues with the tinny low bit type sound from Sirius and the radio. Just sound awful in my opinion. Even the HD FM the sound is tinny. If you stick with a SD card or even stream off your phone you should be fine. I'm thinking of canceling my Sirius after the trail due to the low bit sound quality that comes from this HK system.

Seems like you have to turn the volume up more just to get even the littlest of sound outta those speakers.

What kind of sd card seems to be the best(I'm thinking of a 32 GB)?

Re: 2014 Audio Impressions... Any out there?

Got a chance to check one out this weekend. Had the base radio though and didn't anything in the way of controls. Could just pick files and songs basically, couldn't find random anywhere. Gotta test one with the proper radio I guess.

I haven't tried myself, but others have stated 32 gigs is the max the system will read from. I bought a Transcend class 10 32 gig card and haven't had any issues.

Does Uconnect play music off of an sd card that was purchased via iTunes, or just songs that you ripped yourself from a cd?

Re: 2014 Audio Impressions... Any out there?

play it on my 32gb just fine and moved all my music from iTunes which works fine. To be honest the sound is crisp and loud with with the SD card or iPhone bluetooth streaming. I really hate how sirius and the FM sounds now with this new radio. my 2011 alpine setup sounded great with sirius not this one.

I hate to tell you, but as a subscriber to XM from its inception to my 2010 lease of a Maxima with the Bose system, the audio quality of the now merged XM-Sirius radio has gotten so bad it's no longer a better quality that you AM/FM radio stations. It's so bad that I didn't even renew even with a $76/year offer.

How is the quality of the HD stations, if any available in your area, compared to the Satellite and OTA stations.

What's the difference in a class 10 sd card that everyone's mentioning as opposed to a regular card? Does the jeep take a regular sized sd card?

Class 10 is just the read/write speed of the SD cars-higher class rating=faster data access/faster data write...more useful with dSLR cameras.
The SD card IS a "standard" so any SD cards will fit. I don't believe there is a minimum class rating requirement in the SD card reader just what audio format the radio can play.

So the jeep takes a standard class 10 32 gb sd card not a micro sd card with an adapter?
