Many contact center operations are now using technology that insures that their records reflect multiple contacts through different channels in the same customer record for audit and continuity. And that's an automated response...

In all honesty, I believe instead of a PND, the smartphone navi apps are the way to go. Between off-line (which I prefer) and on-line, the choices are many and far better. With most PND, you are still stuck with same software, whereas the navi app you get feature upgrades and the important map updates.

Don't need, nor want a phone. Just a reliable map update each spring and I'll be happy. My old NUVI fills the need, but there are some new features that would be nice. Unfortunately Birdseye is not one that is available on the NUVI line, but custom maps fill the void.

These 8.4 uconnects were in the 300Cs and RAMs a year earlier in 2013 models if i remember right? Someone correct me if im wrong. So are those units still sitting on even older maps then the 2Q2012 maps? My guess is they probably have not updated any on this platform even the ones with them back on 2013

its been a little while since I asked jeep for status on this so I sent them an email and stated 3 or 4 times not to tell me to contact HERE about map updates that I had done that numerous times over the last year and that I wanted a reply from jeep on what the problem was. sure enough an email comes back telling me to contact HERE. I know they didn't even read my email they saw the word map and hit the canned response button.

Then they went on to reprimand me because I have the P67 ORC recall outstanding and incomplete and that I need to contact my dealer right away to get this taken care of. of course everyone but jeep corporate knows that this recall has had no parts available from the start 6 months ago when it was issued and no one has had it completed. Tier 1 customer support is always beyond a frustrating experience. I truly do believe that real people don't read the emails. The emails are computer checked for key words and then canned responses are just sent out automatically based on the key words.

Then it is time to use proven technology, although it will cost something.

Everybody, print out all your emails and responses, print out the posts from this thread and at least one thread going back 2 years I believe and then right cover letter address to the VP's. Insert into a manila envelope and the USPS (the mail) shall deliver it. Image if Jeep gets hundreds of them with return certified receipt.

In all seriousness, if this is what it takes to get past the computer generated response, so be it. Product support means, product support which Jeep surly lacking these days.

I am going to see what else I can find this weekend. I remember they used to list them in the ABOUT tabs, now with the FCA format I have to do some digging. It got late last night.

A few hundred letters labeled eyes only should get somebody's attention.

Yep, this is going to be a challenge to find the address.

Everything that I found so far relates to a P.O. Box. It seems the main box is 8004. The Customer Relations is 8007 which I got from my recall notices. I wonder what the Legal Department is. For sure they will pass it on to somebody.

Tomorrow, I will Google Auburn Hills, MI, to track some address down.

Good job that is a start, now the key is to get past the worthless customer relations group and get it in the hands of one of the higher management to read and review. Addressing it to be opened by a certain person in the right department, if you can find out the right person. Oterwise it will just flow back to the mindless customer relations computers and a canned response letter will be generated.
