Chrysler should be aware, thanks to the VIN/"request code" approach of placing an order for an upgrade, which maps database is currently on the vehicle. Based on your earlier comment I concluded that they are willing to sell owners that already have 2013Q4 an "upgrade" that has tweaked version/build numbers (because there's more than one version number associated with this software, you know)

how about you keep your conclusions to yourself... I am by no means disgruntled at all. I'm just tired of dealing with children who try to stir shit up over nothing. Your comments after what I originally posted were not needed. Reading comprehension obviously is not your strong suit.

I was posting information that I just learned about, hoping it may help someone out that wasn't sure.

Hope you feel better now that you lashed out and swore at somebody. That really wasn't necessary. We can't all be as intelligent as you.

Now they add to the insult trying to charge $149 for just a map update! We have a 7" screen Magellan unit we bought at Fry's for $99 which has free lifetime updates.
Not using the full screen real estate for the map bugged me from day one. The touted the new big screen and didn't use it efficiently. I came from an 8 inch map in an Acura. They could have the soft buttons appear only after you touch the screen. Mine was the first to come in where I bought it. The salesman was surprised that the buttons were always present.

It really does seem that you do lack reading comprehension. To clarify for you: I was implying that I realized that you have been trolling.

Like I said in my first post, I was just informing people of what I had just found out.

I know. I just have to discipline myself to ignore their bait and not rise to their insults.

2014 Navigation update now available

I still would like to know what In my first post would make anyone think I'm trolling?

My original post (page 1):

If anyone already has the .....2013Q4 version, then this "update" will not do anything. The 2013Q4 is the latest map offered

I guess stating a fact that I verified is a bad thing? or my disgust with the map update process being lacking? hence the mad face.

What in that post is considered trolling?
