2014 Summit, anyone know how to safely remove the CD player?

I'd like to remove my CD player as it's not something we have ever used and it's taking up center console space.

Does anyone know if I can just unplug it and buy a new piece of plastic for inside the center console and keep everything working correctly.

If anyone is in Central Texas and wants a CD player I'd love to make a swap (with some cash).

Thanks.

If you do a search here you will find complete instructions and a parts list for the console.

You don't even need to search. It's stickied above.
