Re: 2014 UConnect phone pairing issues?

Have had my Limited with 8.4AN for 3 days, probably 20+ starts with no issues reconnecting.

Yeah this is apparently only a problem in Laredos with 5-inch screens. And it's all phones, not just iPhones.

Re: 2014 UConnect phone pairing issues?

My 8.4AN seems to be maintaining the Bluetooth pairing so far with an iPhone 5 and a Razr Maxx HD. BUT, the NAV screen locked up today and would not come back until I parked the vehicle and let is sit for a while before restarting. It has also lost the memory seat settings overnight and some of the controls settings will change back by themselves when I try to change a settign....while I'm watching.

Yes, I got a call today from my dealer. They finally received the FlashDrive with the software update from Chrysler. I will bring it in next Tuesday. It may be the software update may take care of more problems than the dropping of paired phones? Seems to be more electronic problems popping up.

If you could get a tsb or star # to pass along that would be great.

I have AT&T as well and my iPhone 5 has not had any issues connecting and staying connected.

Yes thanks so much for the update! Hopefully it will fix everything. You have been having other problems as well?

Re: 2014 UConnect phone pairing issues?

I posted earlier in the week that my older model phone (Droid 2 with Verizon) would not stay paired (although it paired with my 2011 Jeep). So even though I was reading this was a glitch, my mechanic's phone paired without issue and so I went out and purchased a new Droid phone that was listed on the BlueTooth Compatible devices list. Still will not stay paired. Pretty freakin' pissed off to be owning a $40K 2014 Limited that I've had for one week (less than 200miles on it) and have a brand new phone that won't stay paired!!!

Re: 2014 UConnect phone pairing issues?

I've had my '14 Overland for five days now and have had no issues with my Verizon iPhone 5 staying connected. Nor any Uconnect problems at all to speak of.

Good point. Something like that would be really helpful.
