Maybe they messed something up with that update.
Hmmm, when I spoke to the mechanic at my dealer today he said that Chrysler called him and told him about it. Whatever it is it seems to be working for at least a couple of people here.
UConnect seems messed up to me. When I spoke with them they didn't give me any info about an update timeline and said that because my specific OS (6.1.3 and not just 6.1.0) wasn't listed as compatible that was why it wasn't staying paired, even though a friend with an android whose operating system was listed couldn't get her phone to stay paired to my car either. However, the guy I spoke with did tell me that sometimes they mail flash drives out with updates that you can install yourself. I don't like the idea of having to take it to the dealer for every update and it seems like there should be an online download available instead of having to wait for them to mail it as well. Someone in another forum said that every time she takes her Jeep in for an oil change she asks to have it hooked up to the star tool so that any updates will be downloaded...may have to remember to do this, although my understanding is that we only need an oil change every 8000 miles, which is pretty much only once a year for me.
The whole process just seems very disjointed to me, like lacking in communication between UConnect, Chrysler and dealers.
