2014 WK2 Audio EQ setting forgotten after each restart of Jeep

I'm not certain when this began, but every time I start my Jeep, the head unit (I have the RA4) seems to forget the EQ settings and acts as if it's not enabled. I have to manually go into the EQ and adjust anything (treble/bass/fade/balance... any setting at all) and suddenly the EQ pops back on (music gets louder, bass is properly applied, etc.). After I get where I am going and shut off the Jeep, I come back, restart the Jeep and the EQ is "off" again. Really weird.

I am pretty sure this was working before the 15.26.1 update (the security one). I hope I'm describing the issue properly. Note that the "Surround" feature (which I like having on) which was previously set to On, was set to "Off" after I updated my software and I had to toggle it on again.

This has been an issue since day one of this system.

Ah okay, I never realized for some reason. You use any clever workarounds/tricks to overcome it without having to go to "audio" and toggling an audio setting every time you start up your Jeep?

Thanks for the response

Sadly it's become second nature to fix the EQ. From other posts it seems this is a problem with the amp rather than the uconnect software. Durangos have the same exact problem. Supposedly they're working on the fix but nothing has been release to the public. Hopefully soon!
