Question 2015.20 - 730n rhr

Hello y'all,

I've updated all my firmware and Grace note with no problems at all via DVD...

Now I just can't figure out how to update my city navigator... DVD's don't work, USB key doesn't work...

I've done this just last week on my 300C with a USB stick and it worked instantly... I'm stumped.

Anyone successfully updated they're 2012 Overland?

Thanx.

NAV updates are VIN specific. You can't use the same update from one vehicle on another...you have to purchase the NAV update specifically for you JGC VIN from Navteq.

And yes, I updated mine about a month ago. The lates release came out just before then.

SORRY Jim... I knew about the VIN specific part except I mistakenly thought the keygen would work for this unit as it did it my 300C...

I noticed I couldn't enter the full VIN number (unit ID) in the keygen working on my .UNL file.

Apologizes again Jim.

A better suited question would then be :

Has anyone figured out a way to make a MD5 krypt keygen???

It really pisses me off when my NAV routes me 3 miles west to get on a free-way that has an on ramp half a mile in front of me!!!

I have 3 DVD's with the gmapsupp.img 2015.10 and 2015.20 if anyone is interested in my neck of the Canadian wilderness... Won't work on RHR though

I do not believe what you are asking about is legal...
