I've had my Grand Cherokee a week now
And the speed limit warnings are drivin
Nuts.
Is there a way to turn the warnings off with
out turning the Nav volume completely off?
Thanks
Thanks to all that replied!
I don't know how I missed that menue option, but I found it and was able to increase the speed in which the warning kicks in!
It can definitely be turned off in the menus. BTW, you can also determine how many miles an hour over the speed limit that the warnings should start at.
I have mine set to 10 mph. I've contemplated turning it completely off but I KNOW the first time I get pulled over (knock on wood) with it turned off ... I will kick myself in the rear end!
I think it's better to just turn it up than off if it's annoying. If it's annoying you'll just tune it out.
10 is pretty low for most drivers.
Occasionally it's wrong. Like a Toll Booth that recently switched over to a high speed toll. It's so funny when it comes on saying the Speed Limit is like 30 and I'm going 65
Ya'll don't live in places that have speed cameras like Chicagostan... Then you'd see how advantageous it is. And when you think that Ozztralians also get a speed camera database with their maps...
