Just curious - what is this kenwood unit you are speaking of? Could you share some more information?

The 2012 Kenwood HeadUnits that are have idatalink connecton will be able to hookup to the UConnect system sometime later this year. ADS and Kenwood have the exclusive as of now for the harness. ADS would not confirm as of now if other aftermarket radios will be included now the road.

I see - looks like a much slicker interface for sure. So does this come with included navigation or do you pay extra for that?

As of now, the Kenwood 2012 DNX series with built-in GPS will work with the interface. That also includes their top of line eXcelon series. The pecking order for availability will be FORD (next month), GM (early summer) and then finally us. ADS (iDatalink) hopes to have it by summer or early fall for the UConnect.
