Here are the 4 links in the Support FAQ that relate to the 430N

https://buy.garmin.com/support/searchSupport/case.faces?caseId={862a9e50-e6c5-11df-ea12-000000000000}

Then the direct link: http://www.garmin.com/products/chrysler/
hmm I will have to give this this a try. What is wierd is if you navigate into a screen on the 430n it actually directs you to the download page for more "fun stuff" for your Gamin.

I'd call Garmin and ask.

$89 for lifetime map updates is probably for standalone devices. I doubt it will be this cheap for built-in, most likely they won't even offer lifetime subscription. Why? Because everyone likes permanent revenue source and you can't exactly go with another vendor for built-in Nav

Re: 430N and Sirius Travel Link

Actually some revenue is better than none. Does not really matter to me as I will get mine from a torrent.

Good suggestion and good questions. Re the search function, use the "A-Z" button and enter a few characters, press Go and shortcut your way to the relevant playlists. I only have 700+ songs loaded so far but this is still a big help.

If you go through the Navtech link on the Jeep site the charge for updated maps is $199. The www.garmin.com/chrysler link doesn't have an update map listed but when it does I suspect it will be priced the same.

Re: 430N and Sirius Travel Link

UPDATE: Chrysler Co. customer service called this afternoon about update to 430N for Sirius Travel link. We will be getting a disk with instructions on how to use it in the mail shortly. This disk will put Travel Link on the 430N and fix other problems with the 430N. If this goes true to form for ChryCo......don't hold your breath

Re: 430N and Sirius Travel Link

I called and emailed me and this is what they said
"I wish I had this information at hand for you; however, the best
resource for your question is the Parts Department of your local
dealership. They can review part availability and discuss any
alternatives you may have. They are the factory trained personnel that
know your vehicle and our products best!"

Re: 430N and Sirius Travel Link

I emailed and specifically inquired about the 430n software update and got a reply with info on how to buy new maps. I'm just rolling with ChryCo right now as they get their groove on.

Re: 430N and Sirius Travel Link

I received a response back to my inquiry and said the disk will be mailed to my address. I guess we will see in a few days.
